ISLA MABAD: National Assembly’s (NA) Opposition Leader Syed Khurshid Shah has written a letter to Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif to announce the 8th NFC Award. Shah said that the delay in announcement of 8th NFC Award is causing uneasiness among the federating units after the 7th NFC Award expired on June 30, 2015 and after that7th NFC Award was extended for one year through a presidential ordinance adding that the 8th NFC Award could not be announced since then. He said, “There is a need to determine fair and transparent NFC Award for distribution of resources among the provinces”.
