According to the year wise break-up, a total of 2822 persons proceeded to different countries for employment from Karachi during the Year 2016, 6829 from Sialkot, 3499 from Rawalpindi, 5872 from Lahore, 6563 from Lower Dir, 3142 from Gujrat, 6328 from Gujranwala, 6617 from Swat, 5842 from Faisalabad, and 5090 from Dera Ghazi Khan. While in the year 2015, a total of 69491 persons went abroad for employment from Karachi during the Year 2016, 33891 from Sialkot, 22328 from Rawalpindi, 30169 from Lahore, 26760 from Lower Dir, 19349 from Gujrat, 32655 from Gujranwala, 28485 from Swat, 31622 from Faisalabad, and 31744 from Dera Ghazi Khan. A total of 54857 persons went abroad for employment from Karachi during the Year 2014, 27943 from Sialkot, 18322 from Rawalpindi, 26048 from Lahore, 14853 from Lower Dir, 16251 from Gujrat, 24826 from Gujranwala, 16289 from Swat, 23727 from Faisalabad, and 19362 from Dera Ghazi Khan, the source informed.
