CHAMAN: The security forces on Tuesday recovered the abducted trader, Abdul Nafey, and arrested 36 alleged kidnappers after an operation carried out in Mir Alizai area of border town of Chaman. The official sources said that following intelligence information, security forces launched search operation in Mir Alizai area and cordoned off a house. “The law enforcement personnel recovered the abducted trader, Abdul Nafey from the house and arrested 36 suspects who were allegedly involved in abduction of the trader,” they said. Five motorcycles were also recovered from the house. Police, Anti-Terrorist Force and Levies Force also participated in the operation against the kidnappers. It is recalled here that unidentified armed men had kidnapped, Abdul Nafey a local trader and the son of tribal elder, Haji Muhammad Essa Achakzai when he along with his family in his car was on way from bazaar to his home in Killi Anzargai Karez on Sunday. As a reaction to his abduction, hundreds of tribesmen blocked Quetta-Chaman national highway for two to three days in protest. The police have shifted the arrested accused to police station where they were being interrogated. Further probe was underway.
