Published on: June 14, 2017 4:58 AM

KARACHI: “The most generous is the one, who offers help to those from whom he has no hope of return” – Imam Hussain (AS).

Being human is given but keeping our humanity is a choice. This Ramazan team Who Is Hussain? Pakistan (Karachi Chapter) has decided to handover gift boxes to the labourers of our community in different areas of the city. These labourers will range from construction workers, to bus drivers, to security guards, to coolies and our building watchmen. The gift boxes will include everyday items they can utilize on Eid. Ramazan is the month of spreading peace and awareness. Team Who is Hussain? Pakistan (Karachi Chapter) is all set to share lots of love and smiles this Ramazan. Who is Hussain? is an international, educational, non-governmental, and nonpolitical organisation; the sole purpose of which is to introduce Imam Hussain (AS) to the world and to create awareness about the great message of his sacrifice for humanity. The group has a firm faith that Imam Hussain (AS)’s charismatic personality is a timeless role model to be followed by everyone irrespective of their class, creed, gender, and religion. Due to the universality of Hussain (AS)’s message and devotion, enthusiasm, and untiring efforts of volunteers, the campaign that started as a small plant in London, has now turned into a big tree with its branches covering the world and consisting of thousands of mobilised volunteers in more than 70 regions around the globe.
