Islamabad: The Ministry of Planning has approved to transfer the funds worth Rs4.8 billion for other projects which were allocated for Right Bank Outfall Drainage (RBOD) projects due to differences between federal and Sindh governments. As per media reports, approximately Rs4.8 billion were allocated for the three projects of Right Bank Outfall Drainage in the fiscal year 2017-18 but not even a single rupees was spent over it owing to disparity between Sindh and Federal government. Those projects, to which RBOD funds were transferred, include Basool Dam with total cast of Rs600 million, Kuchi Canal phase-1 Dera Bugti Nasirabad with Rs2200 million, Rs800 for continued project in Sindh, and Rs50 million for the reconstruction of irrigation system in KP and Rs1200 million for TP Link Canal in Kot Addu district Muzaffargarh.
