ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Tuesday sought the record of the medical board that had examined Tayyaba. A single-member IHC bench heard the case on Tuesday. Justice Aamir Farooq expressed annoyance over the absence of Dr Tariq and Dr Aslam, who were part of medial board that had examined Tayyaba after the incident. The assistant attorney general said that Dr Tariq had retired. The IHC ordered the officials to record the statements of the doctors and present the record at the next hearing. The hearing was then adjourned till July 4. Earlier, former additional sessions judge Raja Khurram Ali Khan and Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences MS Dr Nasreen Butt appeared before the court to record their statements. Dr Nasreen said that injury marks had been observed on the face and body of Tayyaba during her medical examination. Published in Daily Times, June 21st, 2017.
