
ISLAMABAD:The CDA has transferred more than 20 acres of land to different persons and organisations including the Establishment Division, in different sectors of Islamabad, in the name of charity. According to a document available with Daily Times the CDA has allocated more than one acre of land to the Establishment Division where it is making a charity organization called the Staff Welfare Organisation. It transferred more than 74253 sq yards of land to 15 different organisations contrary to the rules and regulations. It transferred 5227 square yards of land to Edhi Foundation at H-8; 5000 sq yards to Bishop of Rawalpindi in the name of a church at F-8/4; 2222 sq yards to Emmanuel Church at G-8/2; 183.33 sq yards to the Pakistan Christian Welfare Society at G-8/2; 1182 sq yards to Moderate United Church of Pakistan at G-10/4; 1000 sq yards to Protestant International Church at Diplomatic Enclave and 2000 sq yards to Lahore Diocesan Church Association at F-7 Markaz. Furthermore, CDA also allocated five acres of land in the name of Rawalpindi Markazi Jamiat Ahle Hadith at H-8 for Deeni University; 10000 SQ YARD to Al-Huda Int Welfare Foundation at H-11 for madrassa; 28155 sq yards to Anjuman Taleem-ul-Islam at NPA for madrassa and 3879 sq yards to Nation Spiritual Assembly at H-8/4 for Bahai Community Centre. Some 8888 sq yards were given to Tafheem-ul-Quran at H-8 for madrassa. The CDA gave 2222, 1777 and 1725 sq yards of land to Establishment Division in G-9, G-10 and G-6/1. This land has been given in the name of charity and welfare purposes.
