ISLAMABAD: An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Friday directed the police to produce Pakistan Tehree-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Chief Tahirul Qadri before court on November 17, in Parliament and PTV buildings attack case. ATC Judge Syed Kausar Abbas Zaidi heard the case regarding the damage to state property during protests and the sit-in of the PTI and the PAT in 2014. During the proceeding, the court ordered to maintain arrest-warrants of Imran, Qadri and other 70 nominated accused in Parliament and PTV attack case. It granted exemption to the six accused who appeared before the court. The court expressed displeasure for not producing the accused and directed the police produce the accused on next date of hearing November 17, after arresting them. It may be mentioned here that secretariat police had registered a case in 2014 against the PTI and the PAT leaders for damaging public property during protests.
