ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Vice-Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that the people saw the difference between democracy and dictatorship and the government showed its true colours on Friday. The PTI leader criticised the government and said that peaceful protests were not permitted by the government as they used coercive force against demonstrators today. He said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s rally in Kohat was peaceful because the government is maintained by PTI there. Qureshi added that PTI’s government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) was the reason that no barriers were placed ahead of Nawaz Sharif’s rally. The plan for a peaceful protest in Islamabad on November 2 remained unchanged,” the PTI leader said.
