DUBAI: Former president Pervez Musharraf has ruled out imposition of martial law, saying the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI’s) sit-in will again come to an inconclusive end. “There is not possibility of martial law in the country. The sit-in will again end without bearing any fruit. Premier Nawaz will become next prime if the sit-in fails to bring any change,” he said while talking to a private TV news channel on Saturday. He, however, said courts should play their role. “The government is responsible for the prevailing situation and it should resign as it has failed to deliver,” he said, adding that the allegations levelled by Imran Khan against Nawaz Sharif are correct. He said people would continue to take to streets unless justice is not dispensed.
