One of the emerging stars of the entertainment industry, Wahaj Ali has been giving out his best performances in latest drama serials.
Starring as Maan in ‘Haiwaan’, Wahaj Ali played his character with such a strong grip that we all fell in love with his amazing performance. His recent role as Taabish in Dil-e-Berehem also garnered a lot of praise and attention from the audience and acclaim from the critics.
Starring in the lead now in one of the most anticipated dramas of the season ‘Ehd-e-Wafa’, it looks like he has another accomplishment under his belt among his recent achievements. One of a kind story about four friends in military training, Wahaj Ali is starring as Shariq, a cheerful and bubbly guy with a humorous element to his personality. The drama series is co-produced by Momina Duraid and Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) that aired its first episode on HUM TV on 22nd of September.
Alongside Ali, the cast includes Ahad Raza Mir as Saad, Ahmed Ali Akbar as Shehryar and Osman Khalid Butt as Shah Zain.
Continuing with his legacy of spot-on acting, he has successfully taken all the spotlights in the drama. From the very first episode of Ehd E Wafa, Wahaj Ali stood out among an ensemble cast, which is owed to his excellence in acting and performing a character effortlessly. Starring as a confident, smart, and funny guy, who still has a serious element to his personality. Shariq looks like a multidimensional character, with multiple aspects to his personality. He is portrayed as the sensible one in the group, but still stands with his friends in all their different shenanigans. Each character in the group has a different kind of personality and Shariq becomes the favorite in the group with his mature outward towards life, cute looks and a sensible attitude; Wahaj Ali’s character is a combination of all things that seem attractive to the audience.

In the first episode, when he gets caught trying to escape the dormitory, he contemplates his actions and the consequences it might have on his future. So Shariq’s character is designed carefully, and Wahaj Ali is doing justice to this character with his brilliant performance.
Throughout the episode Wahaj Ali’s facial expressions, dialogue delivery and character imitation is unbreakable and this is one of the many reasons that his fan base is increasing every day.
Another scene that was a highlight in the episode was when we saw Wahaj Ali in soccer uniform running across the soccer field.
With the drama having just started, the story is at quite an early stage. Wahaj Ali managed to play his part with finesse, and we are hoping that we get to see more of him in the upcoming episodes.
‘Ehd-e-Wafa’ has started strong with an intriguing first episode full of fun-packed story as well as amazing landscape and brilliant performances, leaving us excited to see more of it. We cannot wait to see what Ali’s character has in store for us in this drama.
