In a day and age where actresses tend to pick characters that portray a positive role, Ushna Shah undoubtedly is the reigning queen of choosing unique characters that leave a huge impact on the audiences.

She has never been afraid of picking projects that have a negative portrayal on screen and has always maxed every project with originality. With her confident personality and strong opinions, Ushna Shah leaves her essence in every character that she plays.

Be it a complex one in ‘Alif Allah Aur Insaan’ or the bewitching negative Nigar in ‘Balaa’, Ushna Shah has always left the audience raving for her creativity each time. Infusing her acting with dedication and craft, she continuously works in great profundity for each and every character. With every new drama she tends to pick diverse roles that are not only different but also eccentric in many ways. She has been known to play characters that are intricate and fascinating with absolute delicacy. Electing roles that stand out side of the box has been a strong trait for Ushna and every character that she plays has divulged her acting prowess that is beyond par.

This time, Shah is bringing her vibrant ingenuity forward in the upcoming serial ‘Bewafa’. This time, Shah is bringing her vibrant ingenuity forward in the upcoming serial ‘Bewafa’. Shah stars opposite Ali Rehman Khan and Navin Waqar and this trio has been creating waves since the audience had their first look. From the recent trailers, it is evident that the story is a saga of love and hate. Ushna’s latest drama, which is all set to hit the screens no soon than later, tackles a pressing issue in the society. It explores the persistent problem of extra marital affairs that goes around. The story revolves around 3 characters and centres on Ushna who plays the second woman. Not afraid of choosing composite characters, Ushna once again opts for negative role that highlights the intricacies that are rooted deep within the society today.

She plays the other woman while also showing the depth in her character of how things had driven that particular person to take the drastic steps that she does in the drama. With her witty charm and spectacular expressions, Ushna once again has stolen the hearts of many audiences from the trailer that has been launched on television screens. She is shown to have fallen for her married boss while his wife finds out. Furthermore, the drama focuses on the principles and moralities that families need to incur in order to live happily and peacefully. The story is both intriguing and absorbing that holds the attention of fans from the get go. The convolutions that Ushna’s character will unfold while story gradually progresses will unquestionably be worth watching.

With ‘Bewafa’ coming out soon, we cannot wait to see Shah lighting the screen up with her new character. It may be complicated but we know if there’s one actress who can brilliantly do a complex character with splendour, it’s undeniably Ushna Shah.
