HYDERABAD: President of Pakistan Tehrik Insaf (PTI) Sindh chapter, Arif Alvi has slated what he calls the “dictatorial attitude” of former President, Asif Ali Zardari for dictating Sindh government while staying in Dubai. Addressing a news conference at the residence of PTI leader, Khawand Bux Jahejo, on Sunday, he said that due to worst governance of the PPP, national institutions have lost their importance. The Chief Minister, Murad Ali Shah, was active in the beginning of his tenure but now he has become submissive to Zardari and a part of prevailing bad governance in the province. Alvi said that the meetings being held in Dubai on Sindh affairs are condemnable. About Panama leaks, he said that it was a national issue and his party PTI was waiting for court’s verdict. He said that after reorganization PTI will emerge as an alternate leadership in the province of Sindh and will burry the politics of both Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) and MQM. PTI leader said that Sindh will not benefit from CPEC despite knowing that PPP’s government has not raised a voice on it. He demanded amendments in local government act and more powers to elected bodies in Karachi. Arif Alvi criticized the condition of roads, water supply, drainage and electricity situation in Hyderabad and demanded renaming of Altaf university, Latifabad to Sattar Edhi.
