RAWALPINDI: With the weather turning pleasant on the second day of Eid, people visited parks and other recreational places in Rawalpindi and Islamabad. However, they were greeted by traffic jams wherever they went. Ayub Park, Jinnah Park and the Nawaz Sharif Park were the main attractions for residents of Rawalpindi. Thousands of people also moved towards Islamabad and Murree. Frequent traffic jams were witnessed near the Convention Centre. “It took us three hours to reach Lake View Park from Convention Centre,” said Nauman, who was travelling with his family. In Rawalpindi, a huge number of people headed to Ayub Park. Chattar Park also attracted huge crowds. Published in Daily Times, June 30th, 2017.
