Sir: According to report 2018, per capita investment on human development in Lahore is more than Rs 70,000. However, as compare to southern Punjab areas like Rajanpur, per capita investment on human development is below Rs 3,000.
Apart from this fact, Lahore stands at 10th most polluted cities in the world as per recent report compiled by IQAir AirVisual’s 2018 World Air Quality Report, in collaboration with Greenpeace Southeast Asia. It is dangerous for the dwellers. Government should have to take certain pollution reduction measures in Lahore such as planting of trees as more as possible, to launch awareness campaigns to reduce vain burning of fossil fuels etc that will somehow ensure the quality of life and make the city free from airborne diseases.
