Filmmaker Syed Noor has said that the ban on release of Indian films in Pakistan is a praiseworthy act for promotion of local films. Talking to reporters Thursday, he said that Pakistan’s film industry was being revived after a long time and educated young people were performing an important role in this regard. He said that now, films are being produced on various unique subjects, which were being liked by the cinegoers. He said that if the ban on Indian films continued, it would help establish the local film industry on strong footing.
