QUETTA: A ceremony was organised on the 89th birthday of Pakistan People’s Party’s (PPP) founder late Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto at Quetta Press Cub on Thursday. China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project is game changer economically and its completion would open up new vistas of development. Work on CPEC began during the government of PPP. We want this project should be completed without any hurdle earliest. PPP was ready to extend all sort of cooperation for this. Rulers should also remove apprehensions of smaller provinces. Nationalists gave nothing to the people by getting their votes but loot and plunder. PPP would secure magnificent success during 2018 elections and form its governments at the Centre and in four provinces and Azad Kashmir. All this was said by PPP leaders, including provincial President Ali Madad Jattak, Secretary General Syed Iqbal shah, Member Central Committee Javaid Ahmed and others while addressing a ceremony organised on the occasion of 89th birthday of party’s founder late Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto at Quetta Press Cub. They said that late Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and his family gave unique scarifies for democracy and it was the reason why Pakistan became an atomic power and was recognised as a strong democratic country in the world. They said Late Bhutto took politics from the drawing rooms to the people. It was he who gave 1973 consensus Constitution to the country and provided security to rights of institutions and poor people. He not only made country an atomic power and strengthen its defence but also put the country on the road to progress and prosperity. They said Bhutto sacrificed his life for the country and its people. He even died for democracy, fought for people’s rights and their welfare. This has also shown his wife and brave children and its biggest example of is martyrdom of Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto in the struggle for restoration of democracy. They said that struggle for rights of people were still underway and Co-Chairman Asif Zardari and Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari are present for democracy and to restore the rights of people. The party leaders said CPEC project is game changer economically and its completion would benefit Pakistan and people of Balochistan and other countries. With CPEC project new vistas of development would open in Pakistan. They said nationalists who secured votes gave nothing to the people but disappointment, price hike and loot. During four years no development works were carried in Capital Quetta. It was converted into ruins. They said PPP would secure success during 2018 elections and would form governments at the centre, four provinces and Azad Kashmir and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari would be our prime minister. Secretary General Iqbal, Shah, Secretary Information Sarbaland Jogezai, Javaid Ahmed, Ashraf Kakar and others also spoke on the occasion. A cake was also cut to mark the occasion of 89th birthday of late Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto.
