Minister for Information Chaudhry Fawad Hussain informed on Sunday of the agreement to ease visa restrictions for residents of 66 countries. Speaking in Afkar-e-Taza ThinkFest festival in Lahore, he reiterated that PTI government is working to uplift the positive image of Pakistan in the comity of nations and thus the tradition of festivals in Punjab will be revived to reflect identity of the province. He applauded Prime Minister Imran Khan for his vision which expands beyond political arena to encompass social, economic and other sectors adding that PM is working to create a society based on the model of Madinah state where justice, tolerance and merit [will] prevail. The minister claimed that the foundation of a stable and prosperous Pakistan has been laid down.
