Sir: The culture of cheating is proliferating in Sindh day by day. Students, who indulge in cheating, not only ruin themselves but also the whole nation. Recently, the annual examination of Master’s and Bachelor’s are being held at affiliated colleges of Shah Abdul Latif University (SALU), Khairpur. It is disheartening to see students going to examination halls with books in their hands and mobiles in their pockets. Question papers are leaked before examination. The practice of changing seating arrangements has become a routine matter. There should be a special monitoring team to control the curse of cheating during annual examination. All examination halls must be sealed off as for as outsiders are concerned. Moreover, supporters inside the examination centres should be tracked down and hauled up. The cheating culture is the direct outcome of bad supremacy and it could not be recovered unless the rulers improve their style of supremacy and take serious steps against political favouritism. I hope some serious measures will be taken so as to save the young generation from being stuck in the quagmire of cheating culture. SAMIULLAH SOOMRO Khairpur
