
The most awaited event for cricket fans is finally in town. It is one of those events where even the celebrities join in as audience while the team players are the real celebrities under the spotlight.
The second season of Pakistan Super League starts tonight at 7:30pm so get ready to be glued to the TV and cheer whole heartedly for your team.
PSL will be hosted by Fahad Mustafa. PSL isn’t just going to about the games thoroughly, rather be prepared to be a part of various breathtaking performances that includes dance routines and music concerts.
Mr Boombastic singer Shaggy is all set to perform at the opening ceremony of PSL. He is flown into the country for the event and there’s nothing that can stop him from making sure that the audience do ‘feel the rush’.
According to sources, Shaggy reveals that he always feels at home on a cricket pitch. “It’s great to be here and I look forward to performing at the ceremony. I have a long association with Chris Gayle, while Courtney Walsh (Former West Indian Fast Bowler) was my neighbour in Jamaica,” he stated at the press conference.
Jamaican rapper is thrilled to perform tonight and he has some serious plans to make sure every single person in the crowd is ready to dance and shout.
Pakistani singer and actor Ali Zafar is crowned as the PSL ambassador. Previously, he has already sung the official anthem of tournament so we know for a fact that he will be joining Shaggy on the stage.
Shehzad Roy has voiced the amusing anthem for Karachi Kings and he will be setting the stage on fire with his performance on the opening ceremony.
According to sources, Shehzad said, “I’ll be performing ‘Balle Balle’ with a lot of dancers I’ve heard it’ll be a packed stadium and I’m looking forward to entertaining the crowd.”
The entertainment doesn’t just end there. We have several more celebrities flying down to attend the opening ceremony.
Lahore Qalander’s brand ambassador Shaan Shahid will be joining the ceremony.
Let’s not forget the heartthrob of Pakistan, also the Islamabad United brand ambassador Fawad Khan. He will be attending the ceremony with his family.
Islamabad United Empowerment Champion Momina Mustehsan will spell bound the stage with her presence.
