MESSAGE

Published on: July 30, 2018 2:16 AM

The Enthronement Day of His Majesty is a joyous occasion, as a Hon. Consul General of Kingdom of Morocco it is my immense pleasure to extend my heartiest felicitations to His Majesty King Mohammed VI and the people of the Kingdom of Morocco on the 19th Anniversary of Enthronement Day.

Morocco is one of the important countries and the gateway of Africa. It is indeed heartening to see the rapid progress being made by Morocco more specifically in the economic field under the dynamic leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI. The Kingdom of Morocco has extremely cordial relation with Pakistan which is deep rooted in history. Both countries enjoyed extreme warm relations, the foundations of which are deeply embedded in the common and glorious Islamic Heritage, The volume of bilateral trade between Pakistan and Morocco has increased to $400 Million in recent years, but needs to be enhanced substantially. The Pak-Morocco Joint business Council is playing significant role to enhance the bilateral Trade and investment between the two countries. It’s an honor for me that at the 2nd meeting of Pak-Morocco joint business council held recently in Karachi attended by Moroccan delegation led by Meryem Aziz Alaoui,I have been elected as Chairman JBC which is an honor for me.

It is an honor and privilege for me to represent Morocco a country I have close association with and consider my second home. Having spent a considerable period of time during the last two decades of my life in Morocco, the pride is mine in saying that my awareness about the country, its people customs, traditions, has instilled a great sense of belonging and I am proud of it. My group has the privilege of being the first Pakistani group having business setup in Morocco for more than twenty years.

I wish to take this opportunity to wish His Majesty King Mohammed VI good health and long life to lead his country towards the path of development and prosperity for the benefits of his people.

Long Live Pak – Morocco brotherhood, friendship and economic ties.
