Mirpur khas: Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said that he is fighting the case for the poor people of Thar, adding that the Thari people will issue their verdict. Addressing rallies in different villages of Tharparkar, he asserted that now the PPP will not allow anyone to torment the Thari people. He believed ‘these oppressors’ wanted the Thari people to continue suffering hunger and thirst and to continue being deprived of their rights. Qureshi asked the Thari people to fight these mafias. On the occasion, PTI Sindh Senior Vice President, Haleem Adil Sheikh, MNA Kazim Ali Shah, and Jay Parkash Ukrani were also present. Shah Mehmood Qureshi believes now the time has passed of those who support the oppressing system and use it to commit atrocities against the poor and keep them enslaved. He affirmed the loyalty and patriotism of the people of Thar yet noted that when atrocities against the oppressed reach their peak, they often opt to revolt. It was his belief that now, a revolt against this unjust system is needed and reiterated his appeal to the people of Thar to forge unity and foil the conspiracies of their enemies through this unity and solidarity. He believes the enemies of the people can be defeated with the power of the vote and urged the people of Thar to take an active part in the census, get their CINCs made, and have their votes registered. Qureshi affirmed that the PTI is now launching a mass contact movement during which their message will be delivered to every town and village. In this regrad, the PTI is going to hold a large rally in Tharparkar which will be aimed at spreading awareness amongst the public. The PTI expects justice from the apex court and will fully respect its verdict. Qureshi also believes that a probe should be made into corruption in all government departments; due to this corruption and sub-par performance, the confidence of the people in these institutions has already been shaken. The arrangements for the PTI rally in Chachro have already been finalized. On Wednesday, PTI Sindh leader Haleem Adil Sheikh visited the venue of the rally and inspected the arrangements. The vice chairman of PTI and spiritual leader of Ghousia Jamaat Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said that it was the dire need of the houf to send all refugees from Pakistan to their homes to avoid more bomb blasts in the country.
