HYDERABAD: The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leaders of Hyderabad division on Sunday denounced the singling out of their party and asserted catastrophic consequences if party’s gets de-notified by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) for the upcoming general election-2018. While addressing a press conference in Hyderabad, the PML-N leaders including Raja Ghaznafar Ali, Jamal Arif Soharwardy,Usman Qureshi, Faisal Athar and candidates Sahebzada Shabbir Hassan Ansari for NA-227, Solat Naseer Pasha for NA-226, Asifa Riaz for PS-65, Ahmed Hyder for PS-64, Kaleem Shaikh for PS-66 and Hafiz Fahad Abbasi for PS-67 refuted the current political scenario that prevails in the country. “How a single party could be held responsible for Hyderabad’s state of destitution while the city reflects archaeological site of Mohenjo-daro for the last three decades?” they said. The residents have been facing severe problems due to choked sewerage lines, overflowing gutters and heaps of garbage on the circular roads. They urged the people of Hyderabad and Latifabad to vote for PML-N’s candidates, and claimed that Shahbaz Sharif has pledged to develop the cities of Sindh and resolve the public issues. They further criticised PTI chief Imran Khan for misusing his influence to get permission from the home ministry to take Zulfi Bukhari abroad. Published in Daily Times, July 2nd 2018.
