LARKANA: The Sindh High Court (SHC) judges including Justice Aftab Ahmed Gorar and Justice Khadim Hussain Tunio on Thursday paid a surprise visit to the teaching block of Chandka Medical College and Hospital (CMCH). Reportedly, they were accompanied by Larkana district and sessions judge Abdul Naeem Memon. They inspected urology department and patient wards, and inquired about the health of patients and facilities being provided to them. Unsatisfied patients complained about shortage of medicines, rude attitude of doctors and paramedics, and unsatisfactory state of cleanliness. Meanwhile, the judges ordered CMCH medical superintendent (MS) Dr Ali Gohar Dahri to arrange all required medicines and medical equipment for the admitted patients. Furthermore, they directed MS to ensure cleanliness and improve standard of hygiene in all blocks of the hospital, and monitor doctors’ attitude towards patients.
