SHIKARPUR: At least two people lost their lives while two sustained critical injuries during road accidents on Tuesday.
According to reports, a speedy Car rammed into a motorcycle at Khanpur-Shikarpur Indus Highway killing Faiz Muhammad on the spot while wounding his accomplice Ghulam Qadir.
Meanwhile, a fast moving truck crushed a rickshaw at Mirza Bundo road, killing 12-year-old Ahmed Jagerani instantly, while injuring Nawaz Ali.
Consequently, both drivers managed to flee from the scenes while the police detained their vehicles. The police shifted the bodies of deceased to Taluka Hospital in Khanpur for postmortem while the injured were rushed to Civil Hospital in Shikarpur and Sukkur Hospital respectively, for urgent medical treatment.
