SHIKARPUR: Sindh High Court Sukkur bench summoned top bureaucracy of Sindh in a contempt application regarding up-gradation of the post of Sub-Accountant in the finance department. According to reports, petitioners Altaf Hussain Solangi and others stated that sub-accountants were working at grade BPS-16 at the office of Accountant General in Karachi whereas other employees of the department had been deprived of up-gradation of their posts. After the petition was filed, Sukkur High Court summoned concerned officers in the upcoming hearing on May 3. Advocate Deedar Hussain Chohan gave his arguments before the bench of Sukkur High Court. Employees had been protesting for up-gradation of their posts since long before petitioning in the court. Published in Daily Times, April 4th 2018.
