RAWALPINDI: At least three persons including a married woman were allegedly abducted within the Pir Wadhai, Saddar Wah and Airport Police jurisdictions. Fareed Hussain, a resident of Pir Wadhai, lodged a complaint with the local police that kidnappers had abducted his wife from the local market. He suspected that Talib, Fayaz and Saba could be behind the kidnapping. Dil Nawaz, a resident of Saddar Wah, lodged a complaint with the local police that kidnappers had abducted his 18-year old daughter from the local market. He suspected that Mohsin and his parents could be behind the kidnapping. Nazaqat Khan, a resident of Airport area lodged a complaint with the local police that kidnappers intercepted him at gunpoint and forcefully abducted him. He suspected that Waleed Khan, Hamza Khan, Nouman, Ali, Umar Malik, Sohaib and Wazir could be behind the kidnapping. The police have registered cases and started investigations. NAB: NAB during a raid arrested a most wanted person Sherbaz Ahmad from the area of Waris Khan. The suspect was wanted to NAB Gilgit Baltistan as a witness of a mega corruption scandal in Gilgit Baltistan’s history. NAB was conducting several raids under Deputy Director Aurangzeb in different areas for the arrest of the suspect. Finally he was arrested within Waris Khan Police jurisdiction. According to NAB the suspect is the closest aide of a federal secretary and all the corruption in various projects were carried out through him. Forest A body of an 18-year old girl was found from Nelore woods within Nelore Police jurisdiction. According to the police the victim’s identification has not been made as yet. Investigation Officer Ulfat Arif said that the real facts would come to light after the identification of the body. Police have registered a case and launched an investigation. Train: A 50-year old man died after hit by a train in Gujar Khan area. According to media reports, a 50-year old man was hit by a train and died on the spot near Sarwar Shaheed bridge. Meanwhile, a man was killed in a hit-and-run incident within the Mandara Police jurisdiction. Iftikhar, a resident of Mandara, lodged a complaint with the local police that his nephew, Usman, was going to his village from Gujar Khan, when he was crushed to death by a speeding truck.
