Three-day 3rd Literature Festival concludes

HYDERABAD: Academy for the Promotion of Art, Literature and Literacy (APAL) arranged 3-Day 3rd Hyderabad Literature Festival in collaboration with Culture, Tourism and Antiquates Department and Information and Archives Department, Sindh.

Convener of festival from APAL, Izhar Soomro said that in collaboration and encouragement of literary circles they got more potential by continuing such struggles from last three years.

From day one to the conclusion each and every minute was segmented by different sessions, musical and poetics sits along with bonfire get to gathers.

According to him more than 30 sessions will be conduct by renowned scholars, youth activists, prominent personalities and rising youngsters.

In inauguration session Commissioner Hyderabad, Salik said that Hyderabad is the hub of education and worth of wisdom, from many year literary figures and renowned scholars contributed for promotion and exposure of Sindhi literature.

He said that by taking such steps literature society could be remained balance and free from wrong activities.

Sindhi literary figure Prof Inam Sheikh said that it was the engagement of Sindhi thinkers and progressive approached youth in shape of participation of this event.

“We have not planned and even not followed up agenda on the actions, Sindh is the land of rich culture and diversity, customs and traditions of Sindhi culture worked as a salt in the shape of emergence, event can be neutralized the all perspectives and aspects of civic society”.

Oxford Press Ameena Syed SAID THAT after arrangement of Karachi literature festival, Hyderabad Was also shaking hands by touching peaks of traffic, HLF is symbol of promotion of art and literature of Sindh.

She said that a dictionary of English-Sindhi has been published in Karachi and going to be a popular in Sindh.

Minister Culture, Tourism and Antiquates Department Sindh, Sardar Ali Shah said that admirable efforts of every individual should be encouraged and appreciated by all over, every government and governing body have to utilize and facilitate grants and budget to create a bridge between society and creativity.

“It will be ideal situation by contributing and owning you’re responsible for the mean of general public, number of social media users’ doing citric on me because I am on the mainstream, but it is very hard to check and balance the phobia of facebook by Sindhi writers, where is the creativity and contribution of such people”.

Shah said that there should be a debit that what was discussing in literature festival and accountability of such events should be in the result of innovative ideas and chanting school of thoughts. Creativity is a symbol, couple of people argued on the installation of Shah Abdul Lateef’s sculpture, there is not any define pattern for the framework of creativity, he said.

Dr Jeevat Sendhal presented a gift of portrait of Sachal’s noted words “Jo Kheeri So Khai” to Sardar Ali Shah.
