LAHORE: Pakistan football team may have failed to qualify for 2018 FIFA world cup but the trophy will be coming home nonetheless. The world cup trophy will come to Pakistan for one day on February 3 and the fans will be able to make selfies with the real FIFA trophy. At a grand event in Lahore, Coca Cola General Manager in Pakistan Rizwan Khan announced that the world cup trophy will be brought to Pakistan on February 3 and fans will be able to see the trophy made of 6.1 kilograms of gold. Rizwan said that it will be a historical moment and a great step to popularise Football in Pakistan. The football world cup trophy will be exhibited in 50 countries across the world. Pakistan’s women football team captain Hajra Khan welcomed the move and said that it was a dream for her to represent Pakistan at World Cup. Rizwan Khan further added that bringing the trophy home will help promote football talent in Pakistan. Moreover, Coca Cola will also be sending 30 lucky draw winners to Russia to watch the event.
