PESHAWAR: Eight hundred million saplings have so far been planted in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa under Tsunami Billion Trees Plantation Campaign. Chief Conservator Forest Muhammad Siddique Khattak told media that these saplings have been planted in Malakand, Hazara, Kohat and Dera Ismail Khan Divisions of the province. He said that the target of planting one billion trees will be achieved by the end of this year. This will help in overcoming pollution and land erosion in the province.
