RAWALPINDI: A decision has been taken to establish 17 Ramazan Bazaars in various areas of Rawalpindi, where quality edible items would be available at subsidised for people of Rawalpindi and adjoining areas. The decision was taken to during a meeting chaired by Rawalpindi Deputy Commissioner Talat Mehmood Gondal. The administration will take all steps to provide relief and facilitate the public including fans, canopies and medical camps, at the Ramazan Bazaars. The bazaars would be set up in Rawalpindi, Kahuta, Taxila, Gujar Khan, Murree, Kalar Syedain and Kotli Sattain areas. Directions were issued to officials to ensure the quality and standard of edible items that would be available at the Ramazan Bazaars. It will also be mandatory to display rate lists. The prices would be maintained according to government rules. Special efforts would be made to keep the bazaars and adjoining areas clean.
