ISLAMABAD: Information Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb said some political elements are trying to disrupt the government’s development agenda through politics of allegations and agitation and they will fail in their designs. Talking to media in Rawalpindi on Saturday, she said people will not support the political leaders who are trying to create chaos in the country. The Minister said the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chief Imran Khan levelled baseless allegations against every institution and national figure of the country. The politics of defaming institutions and trying to bring them under pressure must be abandoned. She said PTI has done nothing except protest since 2013, and people will hold accountable all the political parties in 2018 keeping in view their performance. Marriyum Aurangzeb said the Prime Minister himself had suggested the formation of a commission to probe the Panama Papers case. She said the prime minister presented himself up to his three generations for accountability. The Minister of State said the Prime Minister is bringing peace and stability to the country. The historic mega project China-Pakistan Economic Corridor is being implemented, and economic indicators are improving. Earlier, addressing a ceremony at a local school in Rawalpindi, Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb has said under the Prime Minister’s Education Reform Policy curriculum is being revised to cater the changing tones of time in line with our national values and ideology. She said inculcating our young generation with pride in our history, values, language and culture is the need of the hour. The Minister said unfortunately due to absence of child friendly content on internet our children are wasting their time and energy in useless surfing. Marriyum said syllabus from grade one to ten is being made available online for enhanced access and facilitation of the students. She said increased collaboration between public and private schools will help enhance quality of early childhood education.
