ISLAMABAD: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervez Khattak has invited Chinese and other foreign companies to invest in Pakistan. In an interview with an international media outlet, he said the Pakistan’s Government is implementing favourable industrial policies under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor. Pervez Khattak termed his meetings with Chinese investors very successful. He said his government has signed 60 memorandums of understanding with investors in China, in addition to 25 MOUs signed by local businesses with companies. He said that thousands of personnel are guarding the CEPC project while a force of 4000 police jawans is also being constituted for safety of the project.
