Noreen Niazi’s remarks reflect mindset of her brother: Azma

Published on: July 19, 2026 5:18 AM

Punjab Minister for Information and Culture Azma Bokhari said that Noreen Niazi’s recent statement reflects the mindset of her brother. She said the family has consistently appeared uncomfortable with Pakistan’s achievements and that remarks made against the national interest are deeply regrettable.

Azma Bokhari said that the entire world acknowledged Pakistan’s success in Maarka-e-Haq and India’s humiliating defeat. She said that, at such a moment, Noreen Niazi’s remarks in support of what she described as “the fascist Modi” were not only shameful but also highly condemnable.

She further said that the Pakistan Armed Forces and the Pakistan Air Force achieved historic success during Maarka-e-Haq, making the entire nation proud. Every Pakistani, she added, salutes the courage, sacrifices, professionalism, and unwavering commitment of the country’s armed forces in defending the homeland.

The Information Minister also said that the founder of PTI and his three sisters, through their conduct, give the impression that they either consider themselves infallible or remain detached from reality. She maintained that neither the PTI founder nor his family has ever played a constructive role for Pakistan, and therefore their recent statements are contrary to the national interest.
