Kamal condemns Karachi attack, hails security forces for foiling assault

Published on: June 29, 2026 12:19 AM

Federal Minister for National Health Services Syed Mustafa Kamal strongly condemned the terrorist attack on the Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) Camp, located in Gulistan-i-Jauhar, Karachi, and paid glowing tribute to Rangers personnel for their swift and courageous response in neutralising the attackers.

In a statement issued on Sunday, the minister praised the timely action of Pakistan Rangers, saying their professionalism, vigilance and bravery thwarted the terrorists’ plans and prevented a major tragedy. He said the entire nation was proud of the exceptional capabilities and sacrifices of Pakistan Rangers and other law enforcement agencies, whose unwavering commitment continued to safeguard the country’s peace and stability.

Mustafa Kamal said terrorists were attempting to destabilise Pakistan through cowardly acts, but asserted that such nefarious designs would never succeed in the face of the nation’s resilience and the resolve of its security forces.

Reaffirming the government’s unwavering support for the armed forces and law enforcement agencies, he said the nation would continue to stand firmly behind state institutions until the menace of terrorism was completely eradicated from the country.
