The Punjab University (PU) has announced the results of its first entry test for admission to undergraduate programmes, with candidates advised to check their results on the university’s website. According to a university spokesperson, more than 31,000 students appeared in the first entry test conducted for undergraduate admissions. The spokesperson said registration for the second entry test for admission to undergraduate programmes in the 2026 academic session is currently underway. Interested candidates can submit their applications until July 3, 2026. Students who appeared in the first entry test are also eligible to take the test again in an effort to improve their scores, the spokesperson added. The university has made the entry test mandatory for admission to all undergraduate programmes. The second admission test is expected to be held on July 19, 2026, in major cities across Pakistan. According to the admission policy, 25 per cent weightage has been allocated to the entry test score in the overall admission criteria. The spokesperson advised candidates to visit the university website for detailed eligibility criteria, admission requirements and other relevant information. Punjab University will conduct seven different entry tests to cater to admissions in various undergraduate disciplines, ensuring that candidates are assessed according to the requirements of their respective academic programmes.
