Pakistan Police athlete Athar Jahan delivered an outstanding performance at the Mr. Universe Championship 2026 held in Bangkok, Thailand, winning a Gold Medal and a Bronze Medal and bringing pride to Pakistan and the Police Department.
Punjab Police spokesperson said that Athar Jahan won the Gold Medal in the Junior Mr. Universe category and secured the Bronze Medal in the Mr. Universe Men’s Physique category. Renowned athletes from across the world participated in the championship, and despite tough competition, Athar Jahan achieved remarkable success.
President of the All Pakistan Police Sports Board, IG Punjab Abdul Kareem, congratulated Athar Jahan on winning two medals at the international championship. IG Punjab said that Pakistan Police athletes continue to achieve success at both national and international levels. He said that athletes who win medals in international competitions are a source of pride for the nation, and their achievements bring honor to the Police Department. IG Punjab further said that comprehensive measures are being taken to encourage and support police athletes so that they may continue to bring glory to the country and the nation in the future as well.
Director General Pakistan Police Sports Board, Additional IG Imran Arshad, and Chief Sports Officer DIG Athar Ismail Amjad also appreciated the outstanding achievement of Athar Jahan, paid tribute to the victorious athlete, and expressed their best wishes.
