The severe weather affected parts of Sindh, Balochistan, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Azad Jammu and Kashmir, bringing relief from intense heat but also causing widespread damage to infrastructure and property.

According to local reports, one person was killed and three others were injured after lightning struck a village near Kandhkot. In Rojhan, two people lost their lives and another was injured when powerful winds uprooted solar panels and scattered debris.

Sadiqabad was among the worst-affected areas, where strong winds and heavy rainfall brought down trees, electricity poles, walls and signboards. Three people were injured in separate incidents linked to the storm.

In Sindh, Sukkur experienced heavy rain, strong winds and hail, resulting in cooler temperatures but significant disruption to daily life. Similar weather conditions were reported in Kandhkot, Jacobabad, Thul and Garhi Khairo, where dust storms and high winds damaged property and infrastructure.

Several areas, including Shahdadkot, Mehar and Qubo Saeed Khan, received rain accompanied by thunderstorms and large hailstones. In neighbouring Balochistan, rainfall and hailstorms were reported in Nasirabad, Dera Murad Jamali and surrounding districts, providing relief from the heatwave conditions.

Heavy rainfall was also recorded in Mirpur, Mangla and Islamgarh in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, while Abbottabad, Nathia Gali, Ayubia and other hill stations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa received substantial showers.

The storms also severely affected power infrastructure. In Sukkur, electricity remained suspended for hours after multiple transmission circuits tripped. According to the Sukkur Electric Power Company (SEPCO), 46 grid stations were impacted, while transmission towers, poles and power lines sustained extensive damage.
