Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi. The meeting held detailed discussions on the law and order situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and other important matters.
During the meeting, the counter-terrorism measures taken in the province were reviewed. The Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa briefed the Interior Minister on the security challenges being faced by the province.
Both the Interior Minister and the Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa paid tribute to the security forces for successful intelligence-based operations against Fitna al-Hindustan terrorists. They also paid homage to the martyrs of the war against terrorism.
The Interior Minister said that the sacrifices of the security forces for establishing peace in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are unforgettable. He assured full cooperation for peace and stability in the province.
Mohsin Naqvi further stated that the federal government is fully cooperating with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government for maintaining peace in the province.
