The Pakistan Railways on Thursday announced the operation of three special trains between major cities across the country on Eidul Azha, aimed at facilitating increased passenger traffic and ensuring safe, comfortable, and convenient travel during the festive period. According to a spokesperson for the Pakistan Railways, the first special train will depart from Quetta to Rawalpindi on May 24. On the same day, a second special train will run from Karachi City to Rawalpindi, while the third special train will depart from Karachi Cantt to Lahore on May 25. The spokesperson said that the special trains will pass through key stations including Multan, Sahiwal, Lahore, Faisalabad, Sargodha, Rohri, Bahawalpur, Khanpur, Jhelum and other important stops to provide maximum travel facilitation to passengers across the country. He added that the trains will comprise economy class coaches and power vans to accommodate a larger number of passengers during the expected Eid rush.
