FCCU hosts Forman Legacy Dinner

Forman Christian College (A Chartered University) (FCCU), in collaboration with the Formanite Alumni Association, hosted a prestigious “Forman Legacy Dinner”, celebrating the institution’s rich heritage and honoring the outstanding achievements of its distinguished alumni. The elegant evening brought together a remarkable assembly of former judges, senior civil servants, corporate leaders, entrepreneurs, and professionals, showcasing the strength, diversity, and global influence of the Formanite community.

The event was graced by Mohammadmian Soomro,(Former caretaker president, prime minister, Chairman Senate and Chief Minister Sindh) a distinguished alumnus of FCCU, who attended as the Chief Guest. In his address, he reminisced about his time at the institution and highlighted the pivotal role FCCU played in shaping his personal and professional journey. He commended the university’s enduring commitment to values such as integrity, academic excellence, and leadership.

A highlight of the evening was the conferring of ‘ Distinguished Alumni Awards’ to Aezaz Hussain, Chief Executive Officer of Systems Limited, and Zafar Masud, President of The Bank of Punjab. Both honorees were recognized for their exceptional professional achievements and their impactful contributions to their respective sectors.

Delivering the keynote address, Dr. Jonathan S. Addleton emphasized FCCU’s long-standing tradition of service, leadership, and academic excellence. He underscored the global reach and influence of Formanite alumni, noting their contributions across diverse fields worldwide.

Adding further depth to the evening, Farhan Aziz Khawaja, Director General Civil Services Academy and Rector National School of Public Policy, addressed the audience. He praised FCCU’s legacy of nurturing leadership and acknowledged its significant role in contributing to public service and governance in Pakistan. The event was further distinguished by the presence of prominent alumni including Former Chief Justice Justice (R) Tassaduq Hussain Jillani, Justice (R) Jawwad S. Khawaja, and renowned leaders from various sectors of the economy and society.
