
Pakistan is expected to make several changes to its squad for the upcoming one-day international (ODI) series against Australia, with final consultations on team selection reportedly completed ahead of the home series.
According to sources, the national selectors are considering multiple adjustments to the ODI squad that recently featured against Bangladesh, as the team management looks to strengthen its combination for the three-match series.

Former captain Babar Azam is likely to return to Pakistan’s ODI squad for the Australia series after reportedly being considered in the final selection discussions.
Sources also suggest that opener Fakhar Zaman, spinner Sufiyan Muqeem, and fast bowler Hunain Shah are among the players likely to be included in the revised squad.
Meanwhile, all-rounders Faheem Ashraf and Hussain Talat are reportedly facing uncertainty over their places, with sources indicating their retention in the squad appears difficult.
Discussions are also ongoing regarding captain Mohammad Rizwan, although no final decision has been publicly confirmed.
Australia’s team is scheduled to arrive in Islamabad on May 23 for the white-ball tour. Pakistan’s squad is expected to begin preparations from May 22 in Rawalpindi, where the players will hold a training camp and play a practice match before the series begins.
The three-match ODI series between Pakistan and Australia is scheduled for May 30, June 2 and June 4.
