The Marka-e-Haq First Anniversary Celebration Day Punjab Strongest Woman (Raw) Powerlifting Championship concluded at the Forest Cafe Hall, Pak Arab Society, with Lahore District crowned overall champions and Amna Babar claiming the title of Strongest Woman Punjab.According to Media Coordinator Pakistan Raw Power lifting Federation Sohail Javed Butt , Amna lifted a total of 250 kg Bench Press 45kgs,Squat 95 kg, Dead Lift 110k kg across the three lifts to secure the championship belt and a Rs 5,000 cash prize presented by Chaudhry Muhammad Ashraf Advocate of Vehari international Strength lifter
The championship, organised by the Punjab Raw Powerlifting Association and affiliated with the Pakistan and World Raw Powerlifting Federation, attracted more than 50 junior, senior and master female powerlifters from Lahore, Nankana, Gujranwala, Kasur and Faisalabad. The competition featured the three standard raw powerlifting events – Bench Press, Squat and Deadlift – and showcased rising talent across the province. Amna Babar, a member of the National Weightlifting Club, Punjab Stadium, produced a composed and powerful display: Bench Press 45 kg, Squat 95 kg, and Deadlift 110 kg, combining for a 250 kg total. Her consistent lifts under pressure earned her the championship belt in front of a large and enthusiastic crowd. Lahore District finished first, Kasur were runners-up, and Gujranwala secured third place. Gold Medalists were Sundas Taimur; Mahira Ramzan; Raqshi Asif; Muskan Shahzad; Samrin Niaz; Urooj Dilawar; Mehwish Imdad; Kashf Altaf; Aqsa Hussain; Humira Iftikhar; Amna Babar; Hira Khan; Sana Tariq.

Bronze Medalists: Zaila Qamar; Iman Fatima; Zeenat Ashraf; Noor Shahzad; Aliza Jawad; Mubeen Fatima; Sahar Aamir; Ambreen Faisal; Shehzadi Nazir. The championship was inaugurated by Muhammad Tariq Chaudhry, DSP Highway Motorway Vehari alongside inspector Punjab Police Aqeel Javed Butt, Pakistan’s first Strongest Man (1999) and an international powerlifter. The event’s chief guest, Chaudhry Muhammad Ashraf Advocate (Vehari), and a delegation of international strength lifters – including Rao Zafar Iqbal Advocate Vehari ,Abid Khan, Shahzad Gul, Maryam Aqeel Shah from Lahore joined Olympian Athlete Saira Fazal (WAPDA) Shehzadi Gulfam Retired DSP Punjab Police Traffic international Golfer and other dignitaries to distribute medals, belts, certificates, trophies and cash awards.
The championship was organised by National Powerlifter Mudassar Butt. The technical panel included Rashid Nadeem Butt (Gujranwala), Usman Aqeel Butt, Wasim Akram, Hafiz Imran Azizi, Abdullah Sohail Butt, Abdul Ghaffar, Faisal Farid, Abdul Hadi Zeeshan Butt, and a strong contingent of women officials and referees who ensured the competition ran smoothly and to international standards.
Participants and organisers highlighted the event’s role in promoting women’s strength sports across Punjab. Several athletes publicly expressed solidarity with national leadership and the armed forces, reflecting the championship’s wider community and patriotic resonance as part of the Marka-e-Haq anniversary celebrations.
