Iran warns strong response against any future aggression

Published on: May 12, 2026 3:49 PM

Baqer Ghalibaf has warned that Iran’s armed forces are fully prepared to respond to any aggression amid growing regional tensions and increasing international pressure over Tehran’s military and nuclear policies. In a statement shared on social media, he said hostile actions and flawed strategies would only produce damaging consequences, while Iran remained ready to confront any situation with full preparedness and confidence.

Furthermore, Ghalibaf claimed the world had already witnessed how incorrect political decisions often lead to instability and conflict. He stressed that Iran’s military forces maintained a high level of readiness and asserted that any aggressive move against the country would receive a strong response. According to him, Iran’s preparedness and defensive capabilities would surprise opponents attempting to pressure or threaten the country militarily or politically.

Meanwhile, Mohammad Eslami firmly rejected the possibility of compromise on Iran’s uranium enrichment program. He stated that nuclear technology and enrichment activities were not part of any negotiation process, signaling Tehran’s continued commitment to maintaining its nuclear capabilities despite ongoing international criticism and diplomatic pressure surrounding the country’s controversial nuclear activities.

In addition, Iranian authorities ordered the completion of necessary preparations to protect nuclear facilities and related strategic assets. The move reflects rising concerns over regional security and growing fears of potential attacks targeting Iran’s nuclear infrastructure. Officials believe stronger protective measures are necessary as tensions continue to escalate following renewed disputes involving sanctions, military threats and regional power rivalries.

At the same time, the United States announced fresh sanctions against companies accused of helping transport Iranian oil to China. Washington said the sanctions form part of its ongoing pressure campaign aimed at restricting Iran’s oil trade and reducing revenue channels linked to Tehran’s economic and strategic operations. The measures also signal continued efforts to isolate Iran economically on the international stage.

Analysts believe the latest statements from Iranian leaders and the new sanctions imposed by the United States could further increase tensions in the region. The situation has already intensified concerns regarding diplomatic stability, nuclear negotiations and broader security risks in the Middle East. Observers warn that continued confrontational rhetoric from both sides may complicate future negotiations and deepen uncertainty surrounding regional peace and economic stability.
