Japan Embassy’s Counsellor and Head of Culture & Public Information, Mr Kazumasa Takane, said on Sunday that Pakistan-Japan Socio-Economic Association (PJSA) was supporting professional skill development through Japan focused training in work ethics, discipline, technical skills and societal values. Addressing as chief guest at ‘Sakura Tea Time Celebration-2026’ here, he asserted, the PJSA youth empowerment and cultural development initiatives includes promotion of Japanese language education across Pakistan through learning programmes and engage with Japanese government bodies, embassies and institutions to build strong bilateral socio-economic relations. The Association was actively engaged in successfully organising cultural exchange events including Japanese festivals, language contests, cultural workshops and youth engagement activities in Pakistan. He said, collaboration with educational institutions, ministries and partner organisations was poised to promote Japanese education and career programmes across Pakistan. The PJSA efforts bear fruit generating employment opportunities for Pakistani youth in Japan after successful qualifying Japanese language exams and the eligible could also avail merit scholarships.
