
At least five people were injured in a grenade attack on a house in Dalbandin area of Chagai district in Balochistan on Monday night. The incident is significant as it highlights continued security challenges in the region. Police said the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment.
According to police officials, unidentified attackers threw a hand grenade into the courtyard of a house. The explosive device detonated with a loud blast, causing injuries to all five individuals present at the location. Authorities said the victims sustained minor wounds.

Moreover, the injured were identified as workers of a construction company operating in the area. Two of them are from Multan, two from Sialkot, and one from Narowal. They were residing in Dalbandin for work-related assignments at the time of the incident.
Additionally, emergency teams responded quickly and transported the injured to Dalbandin Hospital. Doctors confirmed that their condition was stable after receiving initial medical treatment. Security forces later secured the area and began an investigation into the attack.

Finally, the incident comes amid a series of security-related events in Balochistan. Earlier the same week, a police constable was killed in a separate attack in Pishin district. Authorities have launched search operations to track down those responsible for the violence.
