Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) predicted on Saturday partly cloudy weather condition, making it clear that there was no possibility of rain in the next 24 hours. According to the PMD, winds are currently blowing at a speed of 8 kilometres per hour in the city, while the current temperature has been recorded at 37 degrees Celsius. According to the report, the humidity ratio in the air was recorded at 31 per cent. The Punjab government has for the first time prepared a comprehensive plan for cleaning drains and drains on a large scale across the province, with the aim of improving the sewage system in urban areas and ensuring prevention of possible problems during the monsoon. According to official sources, during this special campaign, which will continue from May 1 to June 15, the de-silting process will be completed simultaneously in the province. In this regard, WASA agencies have been mobilized, which will launch a cleaning campaign in their respective districts. This initiative is being taken on the instructions of the Chief Minister of Punjab, under which Secretary Housing Noorul Amin Mengal has assigned a special task to Punjab WASA. All the concerned officers have been directed to complete the campaign on time, while their performance will also be evaluated on the basis of the success of this campaign.
