ITF Junior Tennis Championship continues

The Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) informed that the Treet ITF Pakistan Syed Dilawar Abbas Memorial Junior Tennis Championship (J-60, Leg-3) continued here at the PTF Tennis Complex.

A total of 24 boys and 20 girls from 16 countries, including Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Singapore, Japan, China, Australia, Russia, Poland, South Korea, Sri Lanka, USA, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Netherlands, and Thailand, are participating in the championship.

The event is organised annually in memory of Late Senator Syed Dilawar Abbas, who served as President of the Pakistan Tennis Federation from 2001 to 2009, as a tribute to his legacy, passion, and love for tennis.

The event is proudly sponsored by Faisal Movers, Book Karo, OGDCL, Ndure Shoes, and Syngenta Pakistan.

Boys Singles Pre-Quarterfinas: Artem Bukin (RUS) beat Amir Mazari (PAK) 6-2,6-2; Jayden Park (HKG) beat Junxuan Cheng(CHN) 6-4,7-6(5); Ganuka Fernando (SRI) beat Muhammad Afzal (PAK) 6-0,6-0; Mikaeel Ali Baig (PAK) beat Abdaar Ali (PAK) 6-1,6-0; Ahtesham Humayun (PAK) beat Ho Wan Yeung (HKG) 6-3,6-3; Luke Jie Xi Ho (SGP) beat Vladislav Chiburaev(RUS) 6-2,6-1; Abubakar Talha (PAK) beat Inam Qadir (PAK) 6-0,6-1;Hamza Roman (PAK) beat Ruoyu Hua (CHN) 6-4,7-5.

Girls Singles Pre-Quarterfinals: Varvara Rubeatsova(RUS) beat Kiko Okuyama (JPN) 6-3,2-6,7-5; Zihan Feng(CHN) beat Khadija Khalil (PAK) 6-1,6-0; Ai Teng (CHN) beat Zunaisha Noor (PAK) 6-0,6-0; Yijia Wang(CHN) beat Hinako Higaki (JPN) 2-1(retd); Zhiyu Zhou (CHN) beat Yuliia Artiuhina(POL) 6-0,6-0; Yitong Lu (CHN) beat Eyu Yoshida (JPN) 6-0,6-1; Srimuk Phitchayaphak (THA) beat Romaisa Malik (PAK) 6-1,6-2; Yerin Lim (KOR) beat Safiia Urazalina (KAZ) 6-0,7-6(5).

The matches will start at 10am on Wednesday.
