ISLAMABAD: District Administration Islamabad has imposed fine of more than Rs 300000 on six restaurants including KFC, and Pizza Hutt for selling unhygienic and substandard food items. According to media reports, a team of district administration headed by assistant commissioner city Ali Ashgar and Captain Retd Shoaib carried out a raid on restaurants of KFC and Pizza Hutt in sector I/8 and imposed a fine of Rs 50,000 each for selling unclean and substandard food items and eatables and slapped a fine of Rs 100000 on Afghan Darbar restaurant located in blue area due to lack of cleanliness inside restaurant. Fine of Rs 50000 has been imposed on the chicken restaurant while Rs 30000 on Subway fast foods on selling substandard edibles. AC city Ali said on the occasion that across the board punishment will be given to those who will be found involved in violating cleanliness norms in future.
