
Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah arrived in Islamabad on an official visit to participate in important diplomatic discussions focused on regional tensions and strengthening bilateral cooperation between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
Upon arrival at Nur Khan Airbase, the Saudi minister received a warm welcome from senior officials, including Additional Foreign Secretary for the Middle East Syed Ahmed Maroof, reflecting the significance of the visit for both countries.

The visit comes at the invitation of Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, who is scheduled to chair a four-nation meeting where participants will discuss ongoing regional developments and evolving geopolitical tensions.
During his stay, Prince Faisal bin Farhan is also expected to hold a detailed bilateral meeting with Ishaq Dar, focusing on expanding strategic cooperation and strengthening long-standing relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

Officials said the talks will also cover diplomatic coordination and economic cooperation, while both sides aim to explore ways to enhance collaboration in regional stability and political dialogue.
Speaking upon arrival, the Saudi foreign minister noted that his visit would include consultations on current regional developments, highlighting the importance of close coordination between Islamabad and Riyadh during a period of growing tensions.
